Well the Border Collie/Pumpkin Video showed up on the frontpage of YouTube this morning. I guess it’ll be on the front page for about a week. It’ll be interesting to see how many hits it gets today.. yesterday it was sitting around 13,500. I don’t remember the exact number..

We closed on our house last week.

Well after sleeping on the floor for about two hours, waking up and getting a cup of tea we seem to be doing OK. I uploaded our pics to flickr, and we’re now on the plane and it’s about 3/4 full. Next stop is St. Martin

We made it through security with no major hangups. Kathleen had a tube of sunscreen confiscated. We watched some battlestar galactica, and I almost killed the macbook battery because folding@home was running both cpu cores at full blast in the background. Also I hadn’t actually set up any of my power saving settings. I was running both cores at full power maxed out. After watching 1 epsode of BSG the battery was at 45 percent. Anyways I’m now in my window seat wondering if I’m going to get any sleep. I usually have trouble sleeping on redeye flights. Next stop ATL

We finally got out of town, and on the road. We just drove past the Longmont exit on I-25. Our flight to atlanta goes out at 12:55AM. Hopefully weather won’t slow us down too much, but the last time I checked there were tornado watches in effect across Georgia.

Wow, it’s great that the election is finally over. What’s amazing is that our friend John won Colorado House District 52, by actually running a clean campaign and adhering to voluntary spending limits. We were out waving signs on the corner for the last few weeks, and the response was pretty positive. I was given the finger a handful of times, but overall it was quite fun. Hopefully this change in the power structure of our country will start moving us foreward again instead of backwards like we have been going..

Wow, apparently people have figured out how to spam the crap out of the loudblog comments.. Looks like it’s time for a security patch.. Looks like it started almost a month ago.. I guess that’s what I get for being too busy to mess with my blog. . there were almost 5,000 spam message in my comments.. The worst part is I don’t even allow comments , so they were spamming to a site that their spam wasn’t viewable on.. Luckily it’s easy to just delete them from the database…

I got the old 77 Puch Maxi running today. I had to spray some penetrating oil into the cylinder to get it to release, and that was about it. I bought a couple of new switches and a float bowl gasket from Dan at 1977 mopeds in Kalamazoo. I installed the run/kill switch since mine is completly broken, and the new gasket.. I think I’ll do the 3-way lights/horn switch tomorrow. Hopefully that will stop my horn from going off whenever I hit a bump in the road.. Maybe some pictures tomorrow
